Prof.Dr. Anıl Arat

Anıl Arat is an expert in endovascular treatment. He specializes in the imaging of vessels (of the brain, neck, abdominal organs such as kidney and liver, the spinal system, the limbs) with angiography, and the treatment of vascular diseases without surgery using the endovascular methods (the so called, “noninvasive method”). His areas of interest are: treatment of vascular stenosis and strictures, opening of sudden occlusions in arteries resulting in stroke or circulatory disorders of other organs, treatment of aneurysms (bubbles) or arteriovenous malformations (AVMs, tangle of vessels) in the circulatory system, intravascular drug therapy for tumors or embolization of the tumor supply before open surgery.
